How it works
After you drink the dissolved tablet, sildenafil blocks PDE5 so cGMP lasts longer in penile tissue after arousal. That supports an erection when sexual stimulation is present.
Dissolve one tablet in a glass of water and drink it about 30–60 minutes before sex, or as your prescriber directs. Do not exceed one 100 mg dose in 24 hours. Do not combine with other ED medicines unless a doctor says so.
Do not use with nitrates or riociguat. Use caution with alpha-blockers, recent heart attack or stroke, and severe liver disease. Stop and get emergency help for chest pain, sudden vision or hearing loss, or an erection lasting more than four hours.
